The Primavera 200 outfit is a surprisingly good quality violin for the money. It is hand made from well selected tone woods and not over varnished like some budget instruments.
The fingerboard, pegs and end button are of decent Ebony and the tailpiece is a lightweight alloy version with four integral fine adjusters.
We adjust the pegs, bridge and soundpost when we set these violins up and they really sing, even with the budget steel strings that they are fitted with as standard.
The bow is a good quality octagonal brazilwood stick with unbleached horsehair. Nicely balanced and it suits the violin well.
Comes with a block of rosin and a violin cover in a dart shaped lightweight case with black outer cover and a stylish grey plush inner lining.
Very good starter violin, substantially better than the usual budget outfits.
